My first day at the new School was interesting. I was going to school with my father in a rickshaw. We reached school after fifiteen minutes. My father said good bye and left me at the school fate. I went in and found that everyone had gone to class. I walked into my class room and found a seat. After sometime a teacher came and warmly greted us. I found the students very friendly in my new clss.

3. Read the text and answer the following question.
Jasimuddin was a famous Bengali poet. He is known as pollikobi because through his poems he depicted the Bengali rural life. He was born in the village of Tambwkhana in Faridpur district on 1 Januray 1903. He recived his early education at Faridpur welfare School. He abtained BA degree in Bengali from the university at Calcutta in 1929 and MA in 1931. Jasimuddin collected more than 10.000 folk songs. He wrote many major works are Rakhali, Nakshi Kanthar Maath Sojon Badiyar Ghat, Bedder Meye, and Madhubala. The major honours and awards he received are president Award for pride performance, Pakistan (1958) D. Litt by Rabindra Bharati University India (1969), Ekushey Padak (1976), and Independence Day Award (1978). He died on 13 March 1976 in Dhaka and was buried near his ancestral home at Gobindapur.
